Underwater Photography...
As you may have read on the home page,
David's business stems from way back in 1990 when he took up scuba diving
and underwater photography.
Cameras have changed over the years and with digital technology where it is
currently, the quality of images from a camera able to shoot 4, 5 or even 8
megapixels is simply astounding.
David
has been shooting with an Olympus 5050, a 5mp camera with a unique F1.8
lens... an awesome, fine quality compact camera which produces fantastic
images. The photos on this page are just a glimpse of what David has on
file. He hosts regular exhibitions at Mornington Peninsula Libraries, south
of Melbourne and markets his images to anyone who finds them captivating and
wishes to purchase...
If you would like to know the next date of
an exhibition and/or look to purchase one of David's images, simply send him

Underwater Video...
Back in 2001, David purchased his first
marine video package, a unit which is still regarded as current technology.
A Canon MV1 (mini DV) and Amphibico housing, with wide port and twin 100
watt Light & Motion video lights. What a great system, rivalling many newly
released video cameras. Of course most underwater photographers will say it
all comes down to what sort of lighting you use! David has sold much of his
footage to the Victorian Government for use in relation to Marine Parks, and
since 2002 has travelled interstate and overseas, dived many different
areas, and often produced short-duration videos for dive operations.

David currently has a short 7 minute video
presentation, featuring some of Melbourne's best dive sites, showing off our
magnificent marine life including seadragons, blue devil fish, stingrays and
spider crabs. If you'd like to get a copy of this DVD, simply send David an
